American Crow

Hello there~

This is an American crow, or Corvus brachyrhynchos. Despite how common they are, they have been protected by law for over a century (Migratory Bird Treaty Act, 1918) and are in fact so common that a possible ~50% decrease in their population following the introduction of West Nile virus has not changed their conservation status from “least concern”.
